Tyler Haws was a young man who starting playing basketball at a very young age. He was taking in his fathers footsteps. He played basketball at Lone Peak High School & later on played at Brigham Young University. during his sophomore year in high school, he was just averaging 18.8 points per game. he led the state with shooting 129 free throws & made 81.6% of them free throws. Soon, he started playing during his college years and he scored 12 points with assists in 25 minutes. his determination of being a GREAT basketball player was AMAZING! He would get up super early in the mornings with his dad and go to there local churh and start practicing his shots all around the court. One morning he shot 143 free throws without missing one. his determination got the best of him and he loved it.
he makes me think that if i have determination for anything, i can achieve it. if i have determination to get good grades, i could get good grades.

Muggsy Bogues.!
Tyrone "Muggsy" Bogues was known as the shortest player in the NBA. Standing at only 5'3, he played with a lot of heart & enthusiasm. He played 4 years of basketball at West Forest University. Averaging 11.3 points, 8.4 assists & 3.1 steals per game during his junior year. He started his NBA career when he was the 12th player drafted to the Washington Bullets in the 1987 NBA draft. Now that he doesn't play basketball anymore, he does coach for Charlotte Sting in the WNBA. As you can tell, he wasn't the tallest person out on the court, but he sure did have a lot of heart to go up against tall players.
