The sportsmanship that happened in the conference game between Western Oregon University and Central Washington University softball team was a game to learn for all sports not only because it was a great game but because when Sara Tucholsky get her first homeroom of her collage career she feel and couldn't make it to first base after the coach had asked the umpire what would happened if Sara was sub for another player the umpire said it would be a 2 run single and that’s when Mallory Holtman first baseman for central Washington asked if she  could carry Sara all the way to home plate and the rules didn't say anything that an opposing team couldn't carry Sara around the bases so that shat can get her only home room of her collage career this is the greatest sportsmanship in sports because most team and team players would have done nothing so that Sara would have got her self a homeroom but Mallory know that Sara  worked hard for this and it couldn’t end now and Mallory didn’t care if it was the conference game and Central Washington ended up loosing the game 4-2 Sara’s and Mallory moment changed everything during that half inning those few minutes that both teams bonded as one changed the whole whole Western Oregon ended up wining and going tho the state game. Sportsmanship is a good showing of both teams in any sport whether is baseball, basketball, soccer any sport even if its just a friendly game always show GREAT SPORTSMANSHIP whether you win or lose always be sure to show how much you support your teams effort and show your opponent how hard each other played. Good sportsman ship show always be shown not only to make both team feel good about them self but to make the little one know that no matter the age and the sport you play good sportsmanship should always be a rule

On May 10th 2011, our school Huntington Park High School had a sit-in to support our teachers with the reconstiution that our school is going threw. The sit-in soon turned into a walkout. We as students gathered together & walked in a civil, respectful way to the LAUSD Building located in Downtown LA. I was apart of this epidemic, & all i have to say is that we showed the board that Huntington Park High School can unite as one and be a different high school if they only let us try. We showed that we can achieve anything we put our mind to. We as students came together as one to try our hardest to prove a point that we wanted to prove, but when we got there, they didn't even want to show us enough respect to come outside of the building and acknowledge that we took that long walk of 7 miles from our high school to the LAUSD building. They were scared to hear the truth.

Even though ill be leaving high school next month, i still care about our school because this is my HomeTown school. My Mom, Brother, Cousins, Aunts & Uncles all graduated from this school. I wanted my kids to also graduate from this school, but now with the passing of this reconstitution, my kids will not be able to attend the school there mother went to.

Im really disappointed in the way the LAUSD Board members took us into consideration. They never came outside to talk to us & didn't show us the same respect we showed them. They're suppose to be leaders for us to look up to, but they really are not. They never took our thoughts about what  there about to do to our school into consideration. They only allowed the four HP students that were able to go in & attend the meeting, three minutes to talk. After those three minutes were up, they weren't able to talk anymore. They just showed disrespect to all of us that attend Huntington Park High School.

Good Sportsmanship ;)

when u think about good sportsmanship, you should think about Sara Tucholsky. During the game, she was about to run around the diamond, until she fell to the floor with a knee injury. Everybody was shocked. Then, two teammates from her team, ran onto the field to help her get up. They carried her all the way around the field so she can touch all the bases. She thought that the crowd would laugh at them, but when she looked out into the crowd,

PERSONAL STATEMENTS

i think that personal statements are weird. they make you plan out what you think but i mean like its hard to put what your thinking down on a piece of paper. i dont think that its right for us to put our dreams down on a piece of paper because what happens if we dont achieve them? we will get to depressed and not want to do anything else.

Wellness‹3

Wellness to me is the best thing you can have. You need wellness in everything you do to succeed in life. Whither it’s mentally, socially, physically, you need to have wellness for everything you do. If you don’t have wellness for everything you do, then your never going to succeed to your own expectations that you have set for yourself in the past.

When your wellness comes down to being physically healthy, you need to make sure you always eat the right food no matter what it comes to. If you want to treat yourself to a sweet every now and then, that wouldn’t be bad. But when you treat yourself to a sweet everyday, you start abandoning your wellness for health. You start taking yourself away from wellness you deserve. Wellness that your body deserves.

When it comes down to having mental wellness, never choose the wrong. When you choose the wrong, you are never going to succeed to the expectations that you set for yourself in your life. When you have your head on straight, that’s all that matters to succeed in life.

When it comes to having social wellness, you should always make sure you get good friends that will be there for you when you need them the most, when you have friends that choose the wrong, they shouldn’t stay in your life at all. You should always make sure you have friends that choose the right all the time. When your friends end up choosing the wrong and your hanging out with them, most likely you will start choosing the wrong also with them. You don’t want to end up choosing the wrong ever in your life. When you make the commitment to yourself to choose the right all the time, then make sure you get friends that choose the right with you.

My Interest & Hobbies ‹3

Your hobbies. Your Interest.

One of my interests is music. I can’t imagine my little life without music anymore. Music is my world. Without music, I think the world would be boring. When you hear music, your hearing people expressing there feelings about what there going there going thru in there life or what happened in the past. Without music, half of the people we know today wouldn’t be about to express their feelings in anyway.

One of my hobbies would have to be, texting. I love to text. I think texting is a great way to communicate faster and without talking to that certain person. I think texting can really come in handy at times when our bored. Texting can really come in handy if you have to tell on of your fellow friends something really important and there not right there next to you.

One of my other hobbies is twittering. Twittering is so fun at times. That’s how I got to meet most of my friends. Twitter let me meet Omar, Kill_Moose, Ashley, Sabrina, Bridget, and Jesus. There like my best friends. I can trust them with anything if I need someone to count on, or be there for me when nobody isn’t.

Another interest I love would have to be cutting hair. I like to cut my brothers hair because, if I mess up, he doesn’t get mad. I want to learn how to professionally cut hair because I think it would be fun opening my own shop ad stuff. I don’t want to learn how to cut girls hair, only guy’s hair. I think cutting guys hair instead of girl’s hair would be easier because you don’t have to spend that much time on it. Guy’s hair is way easier to cut cause some guys just like a plain number and a line up which is not hair to do at all.

A Story About Determination

Tyler Haws was a young man who starting playing basketball at a very young age. He was taking in his fathers footsteps. He played basketball at Lone Peak High School & later on played at Brigham Young University. during his sophomore year in high school, he was just averaging 18.8 points per game. he led the state with shooting 129 free throws & made 81.6% of them free throws. Soon, he started playing during his college years and he scored 12 points with assists in 25 minutes. his determination of being a GREAT basketball player was AMAZING! He would get up super early in the mornings with his dad and go to there local churh and start practicing  his shots all around the court. One morning he shot  143 free throws without missing one. his determination got the best of him and he loved it.
he makes me think that if i have determination for anything, i can achieve it. if i have determination to get good grades, i could get good grades.

Anything Is Possible With Determination & Practice.!

A Story About An Amazing Young Teen!

Jason "J-Mac" McElwain at a young age, was diagnosed with autism. Well attending high school, he was the team manager for the basketball. One day at a basketball game, the coach decided to put him into the game and he missed his first and second shot. Everybody still had faith that he can make shots. The next thing you know, he made three six-pointers, & one two-point shot before the game ended. everybody just had faith in him that he was able to do anything a normal without autism could do. According to some of the audience, he was "Hotter Than A Pistol." He's a teenage boy with autism that never gave up on himself. he passed everybody doubts and succeed to his heights that he wanted. i look up to him.
